New warp and pitch shift features in Samplab
The latest update of Samplab contains a brand new audio engine that allows for high quality audio warping and pitch shifting. After the initial processing on our servers, the audio and all changes are played back in real-time without straining your CPU.

Slow down or speed up to the extreme

In fact, our new engine is so efficient, you can run it right here in your browser. Don't be shy, go crazy with it.

Is it better than the competition?

Slowing down audio is nothing new, even a casette recorder that's running out of batteries can do that. It's all about the quality. Let's compare it side-by-side with Ableton Live's Complex Pro and FL Studio's elastique (e3 generic) to hear what happens when you slow down or speed up a track.

Pitch shifting

Now since we got a stretching algorithm, all that's needed for a pitch shifter is a resampler and of course we got you covered on that as well. Let's listen to the track pitched up or down by 6 semitones. Note that because Samplab also contains a stem separator, the drums are not affected by the pitch shift.

We feel like this is a big step forward for Samplab and we wanted to make this available to everyone. That's why we no longer charge for the premium pitch shift but added it to all tiers for free.
